The Community Health Centre at Vellakoil needs a large-capacity horizontal autoclave to sterilise surgical instruments, dressing materials and other reusable medical equipment. The centre's current sterilisation capacity is insufficient for the volume of procedures it handles. A new autoclave would ensure proper infection control and improve the performance of its operation theatre.
