Kaniyur PHC in Madathukulam block needs a full renovation of its Operation Theatre, along with new OT equipment, air conditioning and a backup generator. The current OT infrastructure is ageing and no longer meets the standards required for safe surgical and delivery procedures. Upgrading it will strengthen family welfare and surgical services for the roughly 45,000 people the centre serves.
